It's was a smooth operation but they didn't let us get down at the Buddhist temple...I cannot figure out why but overall it's neat and the view is worth it

Easy and hassle free experience. Able to get access to cable car and indoor park without any issue. For other travellers, can access cable car with the issued tickets but for indoor park need to redean tickets by showing your coupon. Except couple of children rides all other attractions starts at 3 pm and park is open till late around 9 pm.

The Genting Highlands Cable Car starts from Awana Station, which is situated on Level 4 of the Awana Transport Hub (also called Awana SkyCentral) in Pahang. It will take you about 1 hour to reach Awana Station from KL Sentral.

By Bus:

  • To take the Genting SkyWay, you have to take a bus from KL Sentral to Gohtong Jaya Genting SkyWay Complex
  • To take the Awana SkyWay, take a bus from KL Sentral to Awana Bus Terminal

By taxi:

  • For the Genting SkyWay, a taxi ride from Kuala Lumpur would be around 41 minutes long
  • For the Awana SkyWay, a taxi ride from Kuala Lumpur would be around 44 minutes long

  • Children who are below 90 cm tall can ride for free.
  • Smoking of any sort is strictly prohibited throughout the journey.
  • Guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult with valid tickets at all times.
  • Pets are prohibited at all stations and inside the gondola.
  • When stopping off at Chin Swee Station, please keep your ticket handy in order to continue your journey.
  • Each passenger is allowed to bring along one aircraft cabin size bag into the gondola. Large bags will be subject to a surcharge of RM20.

Lockers: Any bags and luggage can be stored at the Baggage Storage Service at the Awana SkyCentral building for RM5 per bag for 24 hours. Lockers are also available on Level 2 of SkyAvenue.

Toilets: There are a number of restrooms available at Awana SkyCentral, including at Awana Station on level 4

Baby Changing Station: Most of the restrooms have changing facilities for children. At SkyCentral they are available on Levels 1, 3, and 4.

Charging Stations: There are free charging ports available at the stations and on the gondolas themselves.

You can also rent a wheelchair from Level 1 of SkyAvenue. A deposit of RM100 is required, but this will be refunded upon the return of the wheelchair.

However, of the two types of Awana SkyWay gondolas, only the standard ones are large enough to accommodate wheelchair users while the glass-floor gondolas are not.
