Family-friendly rides

Mammoth Fun Zone

Zone: Ice Age

A sprawling outdoor play area with Captain Gutt's pirate ship, climbing nets, and interactive structures. No height requirement, so toddlers through pre-teens all find their level. Characters like Sid and Diego are woven throughout the set design.

Tip: Shaded and enclosed, making it a natural rest stop for parents. Sits right next to Buck's Cafe, the park's largest restaurant, so lunch is never far away.

Blue Sky Carousel

Zone: Rio

A double-decker carousel featuring Rio characters including Blu, Jewel, and the tropical crew. Gentle circular motion makes it ideal for young children, and the vibrant character mounts are a favourite for family photos.

Tip: One of the shortest queue times in the park. Right beside the Rio Mercado souvenir shop for a quick keepsake stop after the ride.

Epic Voyage to Moonhaven

Zone: Epic

An indoor boat ride through the world of Moonhaven, guided by fan-favourite characters Mub and Grub. No sharp turns or drops, just a calm, story-driven float through lush Leafmen scenery. Sensory-friendly for younger children.

Tip: Being indoors makes this a smart pick on rainy or hot afternoons. Visit during the Rio Carnaval Stage show when crowds across the zone thin out.

Bigweld's Zeppelins

Zone: Robots Rivet Town

A gentle flying ride that lifts kids up for panoramic views over Robots Rivet Town. Smooth, controlled elevation with no drops or spins, making it a good first step for children curious about height attractions.

Tip: Robots Rivet Town is one of the least-crowded zones in the park. Visit after lunch when Ice Age and Rio areas peak. Aunt Fanny's Confectionery is steps away for a sweet treat after.

Thrilling rides for adults

ESD Global Defender

Zone: Central Park

The park's most intense ride. Board a hybrid aerospace fighter and take flight through galactic skies with stomach-churning spins and sharp G-forces. A VQ reservation is mandatory, meaning walk-up entry is not available. Best suited for guests who are confident with spinning and high-intensity motion.

Tip: VQ slots fill up fast. Book this the moment you enter the park before doing anything else.

Alpha Fighter Pilots

Zone: Andromeda Base

A space battle simulation with full 360-degree loops and multi-directional twists. Guests are strapped into individual fighter capsules that rotate independently, making each ride feel different. Minimum height is 122 cm. Not suitable for guests with heart, back, or neck conditions.

Tip: Eat light before this one. The 360-degree loops on a full stomach are a tough combination. Morning sessions tend to have shorter waits.

Terraform Tower Challenge

Zone: Andromeda Base

A vertical reality thrill ride that blasts guests skyward before dropping them back down in a rapid free-fall sequence. Sci-fi theming adds to the intensity with extraterrestrial visuals during the ascent. Minimum height is 122 cm. Short, sharp, and repeatable for adrenaline chasers.

Tip: One of the faster-loading rides in Andromeda Base. Good to slot in between VQ wait windows for ESD Global Defender or Boot Camp Training.

Samba Gliders

Zone: Rio

A hang glider-style ride that takes guests 65 feet above ground for sweeping bird's-eye views across the entire park. Less intense than the Andromeda rides but genuinely spectacular for the views. Minimum height is 95 cm. A strong option for adults who want a thrill without the spinning or drops.

Tip: Late afternoon gives the best light and the most dramatic views over the park. Shorter queues compared to Central Park attractions at the same time of day.

Relaxing rides

Sid’s Rock ‘N’ Slide

Zone: Ice Age

A gentle, motion-based ride led by Sid and Diego with mild movement, designed for families looking for a low-intensity experience.

Tip: Good mid-day option when thrill ride queues peak.

Rio Carnaval Chaos!

Zone: Rio

A colorful teacup-style ride with controlled spinning and music, offering fun without high intensity.

Tip: Queues move quickly, making it a reliable filler ride.

Epic Hummingbird Flyers

Zone: Epic

A calm aerial ride with smooth gliding motion and elevated views, suitable for all ages.

Tip: Ride in the afternoon for shorter waits.

Rivet Town Roller

Zone: Robots Rivet Town

A mild spinning ride where capsule cars move along a twisting track, offering light thrills without intense drops.

Tip: Good transition ride between major attractions with typically manageable wait times.
