The Twin Towers are Kuala Lumpur’s most well-known landmark and attract visitors throughout the year. If you want to avoid the crowds, we recommend weekday mornings.  

However, the best time to visit is during the evening hours to get a feel of the vibrancy of the city at night. 

Since the city of Kuala Lumpur enjoys a moderate climate and the Towers are largely an indoor experience, any time of the year is a good time to visit. However, to make the most of the city’s attractions and to avoid the monsoon season, we recommend going between December and January or between June and August.

  • KTM (Seremban Line and Port Klang Line): Reach KL Sentral and then take the LRT Kelana Jaya Line. Get off at KLCC Station and walk up to the towers. 
  • LRT (Ampang Line & Sri Petaling Line): Once you reach Masjid Jamek switch to the LRT 
  • LRT Kelana Jaya Line. At KLCC Station, get off the train and walk to the Twin Towers. 
  • MRT Sungai Buloh - Kajang Line: Reach Pasar Seni station and take the LRT Kelana Jaya Line. Your destination is KLCC station from where you can walk to the Towers. 
  • KL Monorail Line: Make your way to KL Sentral or Bukit Nanas. At these stations, you can catch the LRT Kelana Jaya Line that will take you to KLCC station. From there it is a short walk.

The nearest stop is KLCC. Take the B114 that starts off at Maluri Bus Station and goes towards Titiwangsa Bus Station. You have to get off at Suria KLCC Mall that’s very close to the towers.

By taxi: Regular city taxis and app-based taxi services are readily available. Ask the taxi to drop you off at the main foyer entrance or at Suria KLCC Mall from where you can access the Towers. 

By car: The Petronas Twin Towers are easily accessible by road. If you are driving up to the site, you can park at Suria KLCC Mall or at one of the nearest parking bays in the KLCC areas. Parking fees start at RM 5 for the first hour.
